Ocean Ridge...  Located between Lake Worth and Boynton Beach, Ocean Ridge is a coastal community originally founded by 13 families who seceded from neighboring Boynton Beach. Ocean Ridge has grown into an environmentally oriented town where all homes are within walking distance of the ocean, and many boast private docks on the Intracoastal Waterway.
 
In 1931 the Town of Boynton Beach, later re-named Ocean Ridge, was created by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Florida.  Prior to that date the area was part of the Town of Boynton, which at the time included what we know now as Boynton Beach, Ocean Ridge, Briny Breezes and the south portion of Manalapan.  Today the 1,675 year round residents and the approximate 1,000 more seasonal inhabitants of Ocean Ridge describe the Town as low-key, low-density and low profile.  The solitude and seclusion are part of the life in this small town.  Surprisingly enough, people only a few miles away do not know where Ocean Ridge is located. Cross over the Woolbright Rd bridge at the Intracoastal and there you are!   There you will find wonderful choices of single family homes with ocean, intracoastal, canal and garden lots, gated villa communities, beach cottages, retirement condos, waterfront condos, and beautiful townhomes.  Prices range from the 100's thru 9 Mil+
