There is a public golf course –built along the Intracoastal overlooking Palm Beach -- and nine public parks. Lake Worth bills itself as the city "Where The Tropics Begin," and nature-lovers can enjoy tree-lined streets populated with mahogany, royal Poinciana, many species of palm, African tulip tree, avocado and many species of eucalyptus.
