Boca West Country Club, one of the nation’s largest private equity owned clubs, spans 1,400 acres of lush tropical landscaping with an array of magnificent residences including townhomes, patio homes, villas, garden apartments and single-family homes. The Club’s 54 private villages are bordered by four championship golf courses, 30 tennis courts, waterways and wooded areas. The award-winning community, originally developed by Arvida Corporation in 1971, is home to more than 8,000 residents (3,380 families). Boca West Country Club facilities are now owned by the membership, directed by a Board of Governors of 15 members who are elected by the general membership and operated through its general manager. Golf: The first and second courses are 18-hole championship golf course designed by Desmond Muirhead. They measure 7,160 yards with a par of 72 and 6,728 with a par of 72, respectively. The third course was designed by Bruce Devlin & Robert von Hagge. It measures 6,482 yards with a par of 71. Lastly, the fourth course was designed by Joe Lee and measures 6,542 with a par of 71. The Clubhouses: Boca West features three clubhouses for its members and guests. The Country Club includes a grand ballroom, the Hibiscus Dining Room, the Hibiscus Living Room and two card rooms as well as separate meeting rooms including the Cypress Room, the Palm Room and the Board Room. The Golf Club provides convenience for golf with its pro shop, locker rooms and carts, and baggage storage area. Finally, the Sports Pavilion offers its members and guests a 50,000 square foot facility. The amenities provided by the Sports Pavilion include a large tropical pool that separates into several sections including a children’s play area, an adult’s area and an outdoor spa as well as tennis courts and a spa and fitness center. Tennis: Boca West Country club offers 39 Har-Tru courts for its members to utilize. During season, the club also offers tennis clinics for members of all levels to sharpen their skills. Location:
